ERASMUS + mobility project Network Start-ups 101

13.-23. August 2016, Hódmezővásárhely, Hungary

Fatima Ház Alapítvány, Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives Balkans and Association of European Border Regions were organizing Youth Training entitled "StartUP Yourself!" within the framework of Erasmus+ mobility project Network Start-ups 101. The program supported the idea of training young people to start their own business and becoming entrepreneurs. During this event, workshops and lectures were held from which participants could have learned the techniques required to start their own business. Based on the already formulated module, participants could have developed their ideas for starting a business. The work was done in teams of six within which there were two participants from each country: Serbia, Germany, and Hungary.

The Training was held in Hódmezővásárhely from 12th to 23rd August 2016 and was implemented through seminars and workshops.

The goal of the training was to help young people to become entrepreneurs with non-formal methods, by improving their skills and competencies which are necessary for becoming a successful entrepreneur.

During this training young people acquired the following skills:

  • verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • flexible thinking
  • teamwork initiative and cooperation skills
  • goal-oriented thinking
  • project approach
  • rational, constructive management skills
  • decision-making skills
  • negotiation skills
