Ms. Nathalie SANGLIER

Function: Coordinator of Working Group for Gender Equality

Student and involved in several youth and human rights organisations

Nathalie graduated from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht with a bachelor's degree in Corporate Communication and completed a master's degree in Media Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Currently she is following a second master's programme in Public Administration and Public Management at Gent University with a focus on European governance.

During her studies Nathalie took part in different activities in the fields of communication and politics. From 2012 till 2014 she was an editor in chief of Deadline.nl, an online youth magazine for arts, culture and media. Currently she is a board member for the magazine and consistently provide support and advice to the editors in chief. Since 2013 she is a member of the Dutch political youth organisation he Young Democrats for which she organised among other things the 69e General Assembly and a symposium about sustainability. Nathalie is also an active member of Amnesty International and Vice President of the United Nations Youth Association in Flanders Belgium. At present she is working for the startup Background Educations that offers different programmes in de fields of literature, philosophy, economics and politics. As program manager she is responsible for the development and hosting of the programs philosophy and European politics.

In addition to her engagement in these organisations, she participated in international events organised by The Young European Federalists, Young European Leadership, the ASEF-Europe Foundation, Association of European Border Regions,  AEBR Task Force of External Borders and CESCI Balkans.
