Ms. Veronika IURCHENKO

Function: Coordinator of Working Group for Cultural Diversity and Intercultural Dialog

Being a part of Bulgarian minority in Ukraine, Veronika is a member of Bulgarian Cultural Association “Ivan Vazov” in Mykolaiv from the early age. In 2013 - got Bachelor’s degree in International Relations in Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University (Ukraine). During the study in Ukraine, Veronika participated in international conferences with her main scientific interest - European Integration of Balkan countries. In 2016 - finishing Master’s program in International Relations and Security Issues in Sofia University “Saint Kliment Okhridsky” (Bulgaria). Was a participant of numerous events and forums, such as: AIESEC Business School, International Summer School of Human Rights “Tabula Rasa” in Carpathians, Leader of “Netherlands Workshop” on European Days in Ukraine. After participation in “Public Art Workshop” of International Student Festival in Trondheim (Norway), gained a new interest - Visual Arts and cultural diversity. During the study and international forums, was honoured to meet and to listen inspiring lectures of José Manuel Barroso, Adam Michnik, Harry Benson, Peter Eigen, Dalai Lama and others. In September 2015 participated in VII Youth Forum “Youth as the Driving Force of the European Union”, and in October 2015 moderated one of the plenary sessions in the Third International ECPD Youth Forum „Culture of Peace: Youth as Peacebuilders“ in Belgrade, Serbia.
