The pilot action intends to prepare an updated draft of the EGTC law for Serbia, in cooperation with the relevant Serbian ministries to facilitate Serbia’s transition from observer to full EGTC membership.

The FUNDA project aims to enhance coherent governance in Functional Urban Areas across the Danube macro-region by testing FUA-specific solutions with digital and soft tools in pilot areas — focusing on public services, green infrastructure, and the economic environment — while promoting transnational collaboration of engaged cities and stakeholders through the FUA-NET model network.

The project aims to establish an integrated and sustainable transnational water management approach in the Danube River Basin by promoting innovative water retention measures—specifically, Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) technologies—as a nature-based solution to address the impacts of climate change, support sustainable agriculture, and improve flood protection. The initiative focuses on enhancing scientific understanding and institutional capacities through pilot testing and collaborative planning across borders.

The project’s overall aim is to create harmonised data availability and knowledge in the Danube Region to support evidence-based climate adaptation policy making, and thus improve and balance the adaptive capacities of settlements, regions and countries across the Danube Region.

COMMHERITOUR aims to maximise the contribution of cultural heritage crafts to economic productivity, tourism performance and community cohesion, in a sustainable way.
