The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) celebrates its 50th Anniversary with two round tables to discuss the past, the present and the future of cross-border cooperation.

09:00 am CEST: AEBR’s founding members will review the fifty years of the Association since its foundation.

With the introduction and moderation by Karl-Heinz Lambertz, President of the Regional Parliament of the German-speaking Community of Belgium and AEBR President, will participate:

• Manuel Friesecke from Regio Basiliensis
• Sjaak Kamps from Euregio Rhine-Waal
• Bert Bouwmeester from Ems Dollart Regio
• Joris Bengevoord from EUREGIO
• Peter Hansen from Region Sonderjylland-Schleswig
• 10:30 am CEST: journalist will look at the future of cross-border cooperation in a post-pandemic Europe and beyond.

With the introduction and moderation by Alexander Homann, Director of the Representation of the German-speaking Community of Belgium, the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, and Wallonia in Berlin, will participate:
