CESCI 10 – Ten Years After
Happy Border, CESCI!
The Budapest-based Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives (CESCI) celebrates its 10th anniversary on 25th and 26th April 2019. Let us cordially invite you to this event gathering border people and friends of borderlands and cross-border cooperation from all over Europe!
See you in Budapest at the nicest days of spring, 2019!
Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives, the CESCI was established in 2009 with the aim of facilitating cross-border cooperation around Hungary and in Central and South-East Europe. Since its foundation, the association has became an important actor at the international scene as a think-and-do-tank of cross-border cooperation. Its main activities include researches (like the comprehensive analysis of cross-border cooperation in the Danube Region), cross-border integrated planning and programming (e.g. the INTERREG V-A Slovakia-Hungary programme), cross-border governance (consultancy provided for the set-up of 12 EGTCs so far), integrated development (e.g. professional support to the cross-border territorial action plans for employment, the TAPEs), supporting policy making (e.g. the Legal accessibility initiative addressing legal and administrative obstacles) and knowledge sharing (e.g. the SECCo projects in the territory of the Danube Region).
