Workshop on the Legal Framework for Serbia’s Participation in EGTC Structures Held in Mórahalom
CESCI Balkans organised a professional workshop in Mórahalom within the framework of the b-solutions programme, focusing on the development of the legal framework for Serbia’s participation in European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTCs).
The event was attended by the mayors of municipalities forming the Homokháti Micro-Regional Multi-Purpose Association in Csongrád-Csanád County (Hungary). Participants engaged in a professional dialogue on the institutionalisation of cross-border cooperation and the legal conditions required for Serbia’s participation in EGTC structures.
The workshop aimed to support practical implementation and strengthen territorial cooperation, with particular emphasis on the strategic role of EGTCs in coordinating cross-border development initiatives.
The b-solutions initiative – implemented in partnership between the Banat-Triplex Confinium EGTC and CESCI Balkans – focuses on identifying and addressing legal and administrative obstacles to cross-border cooperation through expert analysis and policy-oriented recommendations.
