Kick-off Meeting of InnoWATCCH Held in Budapest
On June 24, 2025, the InnoWATCCH project officially launched with its kick-off meeting hosted at the General Directorate of Water Management (OVF) in Budapest. Partners from across the Danube Region gathered to coordinate the initial steps of this ambitious transnational initiative, which promotes innovative water retention technologies to support climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and flood protection. Key discussions focused on data methodologies, pilot site planning, and long-term environmental impact assessments. The meeting also marked the start of the project’s joint communication efforts.
The InnoWATCCH project was officially launched on April 1, 2025, as part of the Interreg Danube Region Programme, with co-financing from the European Union and the Interreg Fund.
