S.E. Europe and CB Cooperation Challenges – Perspectives
CESCI Balkans Supports and Contributes to EGTCs Conference 2025 in Thessaloniki
On April 3–4, 2025, the international conference “S.E. Europe and Cross-Border Cooperation: Challenges – Perspectives” was held in Thessaloniki, bringing together key actors from across Europe involved in territorial and cross-border cooperation. The event was co-organized by the EGTCs Efxini Poli, HELICAS, and Amfictyony, with support from European institutions, national authorities, and regional stakeholders.
CESCI Balkans actively supported the organization of the conference and played a key role in coordinating the panel “Digital Innovation and Cross-Border Areas – The Case of Digital Innovation Hubs,” held on the second day of the event.
Within this panel, the ADRURAL project—funded by the IPA ADRION Programme—was presented as a good practice example of how digital innovation can foster smart solutions and improve connectivity in rural and cross-border regions of Southeast Europe.
CESCI Balkans remains committed to fostering innovation, strengthening cross-border cooperation, and supporting integrated development across the Western Balkans and neighboring regions.
