An outstanding Strategic b-solutions Conference titled “Cross-border Labour Mobility and EU Integration in the Western Balkans” was held in Osijek, bringing together experts, policymakers, and practitioners working on cross-border cooperation and European integration processes.

The conference focused on the challenges and opportunities of cross-border labour mobility in the Western Balkans, with particular attention to legal, administrative, and socio-economic barriers affecting mobility across borders. Participants also discussed policy solutions aimed at improving coordination between neighbouring countries and strengthening regional labour markets.

Special emphasis was placed on the role of the b-solutions initiative in addressing cross-border obstacles and supporting practical, locally driven solutions that contribute to smoother integration processes within the European framework.

The event highlighted the importance of cooperation between EU member states and Western Balkan partners in fostering sustainable mobility, economic development, and closer European integration.
